Professor Danny Dorling
Danny Dorling is the Halford Mackinder Professor in Geography at the University of Oxford. He was previously a professor of Geography at the Universities of Sheffield and Leeds. He has also worked in Newcastle, Bristol and New Zealand. He went to university in Newcastle upon Tyne, and to school in Oxford. He was a commissioner of the London Fairness Commission, which reported in 2016, he is a Senior Associate member of the Royal Society of Medicine and Honorary Fellow of the Faculty of Public Health of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom.
